The EUREKA Project, funded by SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking, will host the EUREKA Solution 2 Demo Day on 4 February 2026 at Palma de Mallorca Airport, bringing together key stakeholders from across the Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) ecosystem.
The event will demonstrate the Vertiport Collaborative Traffic Management (VCTM) framework, a digital coordination concept designed to enable safe, efficient, and scalable vertiport operations in future European airspace.
What is VCTM?
VCTM enables real-time coordination between:
- Vertiports
- U-space service providers
- Airspace and operational stakeholders
The framework supports slot allocation, resource management, and flight authorisations, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple actors involved in IAM operations.
Live Demonstration and Flight Trial
A key highlight of the Demo Day will be a live flight trial, illustrating how VCTM performs in an operational airport environment. Participants will gain first-hand insight into how collaborative traffic management can enhance safety, predictability, and efficiency at vertiports.
